Matthew Williamson is a Managing Partner and equity owner at Insurance Office of America (IOA), specializing in fully insured and self-funded employee benefit strategies for employers of all sizes. With more than 31 years of industry experience, including over 20 years with IOA, Matt has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and continued success. Matt is recognized for his strong relationships with both clients and carrier partners. His consultative approach and market expertise have led to active participation on numerous carrier advisory boards. He serves as a key thought leader on IOA’s Benefits Advisory Board and previously sat on the UnitedHealthcare National Advisory Board. Matt is also a delegate to the Conference of Insurance Agents and Brokers, an honor extended to less than 1% of brokers nationwide. His commitment to professional development includes earning the Certified HealthCare Reform Specialist (CHRS) designation, held by only a select group of brokers in the country, as well as becoming a Certified Pharmacy Benefit Specialist (CPBS). These credentials enable Matt to identify innovative cost-containment solutions, particularly in pharmacy benefits. Before joining IOA, Matt held leadership roles at Shenandoah Life and Reliance Standard. He holds both 215 and 220 licenses and actively manages an extensive book of business.
