She is also working with our colleagues in Gallagher Bassett, to provide clinical leadership for Stella Health Navigation.

In these roles, Dr. Hale helps employers manage costs, improve care quality, and enhance workforce wellbeing, delivering exceptional results.  She specializes in complex medical claims, clinical performance improvement, and strategic healthcare transformation. Her input is helping to shape Gallagher’s clinical analytics, high-cost claim management, vendor reviews, and other critical initiatives.

Christine is deeply passionate about advancing high-value healthcare—leveraging data and innovative approches to reduce waste, improve quality, and create cost-effective solutions that benefit both patients and organizations. Known as a collaborator and change agent, she brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and business insight to help stakeholders navigate today’s most complex healthcare challenges.

Experience

Previously, Christine served eight years at a large employee benefits consulting firm as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Clinical Consulting. In this role, she was the medical director and lead strategist for the firm’s clinical consulting team, part of the Complex Claims Specialty Practice.  Dr. Hale helped build this team into a one-of-a-kind large claims “swat team”, identifying and resolving a myriad of cost saving and clinical improvement opportunities.  Earlier in her career, she held a national leadership role at Tenet Healthcare where she directed enterprise-wide clinical performance initiatives.  She also spent more than seven years with the management consulting firm McKinsey and Company, advising hospitals and health systems across the U.S. and internationally in strategy, operations, and organizational alignment.

In addition, Christine serves on the Medical Director Advisory Committee and as the designated large claims expert for the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions.  The National Alliance works with and through over 40 member employer coalitions to advance strategies that enhance health outcomes and promote value-based purchasing of healthcare services for employees and their families.
