United States Medical Tourism

United States Medical Tourism offers the latest and best technology, as well as the best medical schools, teaching hospitals and research centers

Known as the “The Land of the Free” and the “Home of the Brave”, the United States gained its independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain in 1776. Since its independence, the U.S. has become an economic and militaristic powerhouse. Also, the United States is one of the most ethnically and ecologically diverse countries in the world with substantial populations of Latin Americans, African Americans, Native Americans, Asian Americans, and European Americans. Such a diverse tapestry of cultures translates into diverse cuisine, fashion, religions, and customs. From the “Southern Hospitality” of the Southern States, the mega-city of New York, NY, the movie capital of Los Angeles, the earthy and liberal San Francisco, the green-friendly northwest, the industrial Midwest, and the national parks of the Southwest; the U.S. has a variety of activities to satisfy anyone from the naturalist and “Bleeding Heart Liberal” to the “Die Hard Conservative” and city dweller, and everyone in between.

United States Medical Tourism Fame

The United States has historically been known around the world for having the latest and best medical technology and top-notch medical schools, which attracted patients from around the globe to such world-renowned hospitals as the Cleveland Clinic, the Mayo Clinic, and Johns Hopkins.

Now, with the recent exponential increase in medical care, some U.S. hospitals and clinics have lowered their prices in order to attract more than just wealthy domestic and international patients.

The Galichia Heart Hospital located in Wichita, Kansas and the Orthopedic Surgery Center of Orange County located in Newport Beach, California offer medical procedures at prices competitive to India and Latin America if patients pay cash up front.

On the other hand, the World Health Organization has ranked the healthcare system in the United States as the most expensive in the world.
